Blueberry plants have delicate bell-shaped blooms in spring, glossy green leaves and delicious powder-blue to dark blue fruit throughout the summer. Fall color is striking and winter wood is brilliant.

Northern Highbush varieties are the most popular blueberries throughout the northern U.S. and southern Canada. There are over 100 named varieties of Northern Highbush blueberries, and we have chosen several of the best for you to choose from. We offer early, mid and late ripening blueberry plants, with different size berries and flavors, as well as growth habit and fall color. Northern Highbush plants require a minimum of 900 chilling hours. Chilling is a measure of accumulated hours of temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit in the dormant season. All varieties are self-pollinating, but will produce better crops if more than one variety is planted.

Southern Highbush blueberries are specifically hybridized for the gardens of coastal as well as inland valleys of California and the Southeast states. These varieties will also do well as far north as Seattle. Southern Highbush varieties offer superior fruit, soil adaptability, heat tolerance and low winter chilling requirements (300 to 500 accumulated hours of temperatures below 45 degrees Fahrenheit in the dormant season). These blueberry plants are self-pollinating, but the berries will be larger if two different varieties are planted.

Vaccinium Specialty Blueberry We offer "Top Hat" which is the result of crossing a short stature Highbush with a compact, small Lowbush Blueberry, making this a dwarf blueberry plant.

Evergreen Huckleberry Plants

Huckleberry plants produce delicious, dark blue edible fruit and will compliment your landscaping with deep green foliage. They work well in mass plantings or as specimen shrubs in the garden, and grow well in sun or shade. Bushes are compact and uniform.
